Washington Weather - The weather in Washington is very seasonable. The spring (March through May) and fall (September –November) are the best times to visit Washington as the mild weather contributes to a glorious spring of flowers in bloom and a wonderful fall to watch the leaves change color. The summer can be very very warm and humid. It is not unusual, especially in the month of August, for the temperatures to hover near 100ºF with the humidity nearing 100%. Usually the days will be blistering and may be broken in the evening with a short thunderstorm. The winters are relatively mild, though temperatures can dip below 0ºF. Washington does get snow from time to time though it is very unusual for it to accumulate.
